Relax with inflight entertainment and meal service. | | Day 2 | Dublin | Dublin Arrival : Arrive in Dublin Airport, complete immigration formalities and pick up your luggage. Go to the CIE Tours desk in the Arrivals Hall to arrange a group transfer to your hotel between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon. If your flight arrives later, you will need to transfer to the hotel at your own expense. Your hotel, an elegant Victorian mansion, overlooks Dublin Bay and Dun Laoghaire Harbour. | | Day 3 | Dublin | Book of Kells & Taylor's Three Rock : Take a tour around central Dublin, with spacious Georgian squares and streets, landmark public buildings and graceful townhouses. Visit Trinity College to see the campus and view the Book of Kells in the Old Library. The afternoon is free and you may use your open-top bus tour vouchers and visit Guinness or Jameson. Enjoy dinner at Taylor's Three Rock Pub followed by an upbeat show with Irish music and dance. (B, D) | | Day 4 | Killarney | Rock of Cashel & Killarney : Depart Dublin and drive south through pleasant farming country. Visit the Rock of Cashel, where Brian Boru was crowned King of Munster in 977. See the 12th century highly-decorated Cormac's Chapel, the large cruciform cathedral and a round tower. Continue to the famous town of Killarney and check in to your centrally-located hotel with state-of-the-art pool and spa facilities. (B, D) | | Day 5 | Killarney | Ring of Kerry & Skellig Experience : Embark on the Ring of Kerry tour for constantly-changing vistas of mountains, open Atlantic Ocean, beaches and cliffs. View the Essence of Kerry audio visual show near the Gap of Dunloe. Visit the Skellig Experience to learn about early Christian monks who lived on the rocky offshore islands and about prolific bird life today. Stop at Moll's Gap for panoramic views before returning to Killarney. (B, D) | | Day 6 | Wexford | Blarney Castle & "Titanic" Walk : Visit the famous Blarney Castle this morning to kiss the "Stone of Eloquence." Travel through the outskirts of Cork city to Cobh, the port town which was the last scheduled stopping place for the "Titanic." Take a brief walk with a local guide to see places associated with that fateful journey. Drive along the south coast via Youghal to Wexford for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D) | | Day 7 | Bristol | Ferry to South Wales : Depart Wexford early this morning to catch the ferry from Rosslare to South Wales. Journey through pleasant farmlands and South Wales where coal used to be mined. Stop in Cardiff for a look around the city center before driving across the River Severn Bridge to Bristol. Check in to your hotel, located in the heart of the city and relax before dinner. (B, D) | | Day 8 | London | Roman Baths & Stonehenge : This morning explore Bath, popular for its natural hot springs with the Romans 2,000 years ago and again in fashion in the 18th century Regency period. Visit the Roman Baths and Pump Room, wonderfully preserved after two millennia and drive around the stately mansions of the Royal Crescent and Queen's Square. Drive to Salisbury Plain to view the prehistoric circle of vast monoliths at Stonehenge. Continue into London and check in to your hotel once again. (B) | | Day 9 | London | London Sightseeing : Today you may join your open-top sightseeing bus tour whenever you wish. Stops at all of London's famous landmarks are included - Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London - so you may get on and off wherever you wish. (CB) | | Day 10 | Depart for Home | Depart for Home : As today is departure day, travel to Heathrow Airport by group coach transfer and allow plenty of time for check in formalities.
