It reads:

Dear Mr. Fanizzi:

Thank you for all your help which assisted our Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department arrange recreation activities for the Royal Navy's visit to New York.

I appreciate the efforts you made to arrange for a cricket match, social and transportation for the sailors. I realize this required much coordination between the Cricket Club and local businesses in Staten Island in addition to running the day to day operations of your own business.

Thank you again for your help. Your continued support of our Navy Recreation program is wonderful.
